Figure Paintings
This intimate collection spans years of figurative paintings, some feature dance and yoga-inspired semi abstracts and others celebrate famous muses such as Marilyn Monroe and Bettie Page. "Even before art school introduced the time-honored tradition of painting the human figure, drawing people was a natural favorite pastime of my childhood. Years later I experienced figure drawing classes in college art classes. When studying art in France years later, I was delighted to work with live models again. This particular collection is actually pieces and parts of a few different styles and time periods over the years, with the common subject of the human figure, still a natural go-to for my inspiration when deciding what to paint."
