"Teal Horizon", part of my Love Letter to the Coast, was painted at Alligator Point, to celebrate the mesmerizing, ever-changing energy of the ocean. This mini 'Scape was created with washes of acrylics, oil pastels, and seashells for mark-making. Staring at the sea has always been a favorite past time of mine, from Fernandina Beach's Atlantic ocean views to oceans in South America to the Forgotten Coast on the Gulf of Mexico, some of my most sacred moments transpired while I gazed at the expansive oceans of the world. I hope you feel that expansiveness when you look at this painting!
This piece is now available as a canvas PRINT, with SO many size options! The giclée canvas print is of the highest quality, ready to fit standard sized frames, no need for glass. (not using glass shows off your canvas print much like an original painting, and with no glass glare!) This artwork is not stretched and will arrive in a protective tube or mailer.
Please allow some time for our amazing local printer to create your print. Processing time is dependent on the quantity of prints we have in the works (usually 2 weeks).
Add hand brushed matte varnish and extra white margin to your artwork! If you are planning to stretch the canvas or want the effect of the border to show off your print with none of the art covered by the edge of a frame I recommend adding this special touch to your piece for extra protection & added original brush strokes!
Tip: To decide what size print to order, it can be helpful to mark the blank spot on your wall with painter's tape!
