Collection: DEER SKULLS

At various family gatherings I've been privy to the boiling of deer skulls going on in the background in preparation for the "European Mount" style of hanging one's antler's after a successful hunt. It's a sight to see, especially when antlers are freshly cleaned and hanging in the woods outside of one's family cabin. I have managed to get a few good shots to use as reference photos and always enjoy painting and sketching this subject!
