At Grayton Beach, the landscape & rich layers of foliage, seen when you're walking BACK from the beach, absolutely deserves to be celebrated. I painted this shortly after returning from a stay at Grayton Beach, realizing my photos had not done justice to the unique Grayton Beach landscapes with their rich, layered underbrush, brambles, leaves, thorns, flora and fauna.
Created as a part of The Waterside Collection that came from my year-long quest to gain portability in my art practice and delve into nature.
