"MARILYN" Canvas Print

This painting with its symbolic carniverous pitcher plants and white butterflies turned out to be more than just a gorgeous painting. Painting Marilyn Monroe was a mysteriously synchronistic endeavor, with the collector purchasing her a year later and finding that the collector (whom I didn't know at the time) and Marilyn Monroe have the same birthday. Completely unbeknownst to me, that was the day I painted this piece. Though the original has sold, the image is now available as a vertical canvas PRINT, with SO many size options! The giclée canvas print is of the highest quality, ready to fit standard sized frames, no need for glass. (not using glass shows off your canvas print much like an original painting, and with no glass glare!)

This artwork arrives signed and titled, protected in clear sealed envelope with chip board and ships flat or rolled in a protective cardboard tube. Shipping is complimentary, yes, free, included in the price. We like to keep things nice and simple!

Please allow some time for our studio to create your print, as each piece is print-to-order. Processing time is usually 2 weeks and dependent on the quantity of prints we have in the works.

Border + Framing: If you are planning to frame without glass or stretch the canvas like an original painting, I recommend adding additional 2” margin with the hand-brushed varnish! This special touch to your piece adds both protection & added originality!
